Vinda paper (liaoning) company limited’s groundbreaking ceremony for 120,000-tonne paper production project

On 13 April 2010, Vinda Paper (Liaoning) Company Limited, a subsidiary of Vinda International Holdings Limited (“Vinda International”), held the groundbreaking ceremony for its 120,000-ton paper production project in Dadaowan Industrial and Economic Development Zone, Anshan City, Liaoning province. Many honored guests attended the ceremony, including Dr. Cao Zhenlei, Deputy General Manager of China Light Industrial Corp., Secretary General of National Pulp and Paper Research Institute and Director of China Household Paper Industry Association, Mr. Gu Chunli, mayor of Anshan City and other officials from various departments of Anshan municipal government, Mr. Li Chao Wang, Chairman of the Board of Vinda International together with senior executives of the Vinda Group and representatives of the distributors and partners of Vinda.

The three provinces of Northeast China play a vital role in the accelerated development of the domestic strategic layout of Vinda International. Being the 7th major production base with a strategic location in Liaoning, Vinda Liaoning will play its part in boosting the local economic development and building a harmonious Anshan.

In 2009, the production capacity of Vinda International reached 320,000 tons a year. Seven major production bases were established in China, roughly forming a strategic octagon-shaped layout of production plants which enables Vinda International to secure a competitive position in the industry. Vinda International favours the production base in Anshan, Liaoning because it will solidly back up Vinda to expand its market share in Northeast China. The completion of Vinda’s Liaoning project is expected to stimulate and promote the development of the household paper market in Northeast China and provide better quality and more hygienic high-end household paper products and services for the local people.

The successful groundbreaking of the Liaoning Project marked a significant step towards Vinda International’s target to build an annual production capacity of 700,000 tons of household paper products. This will help Vinda International to take full advantage of Vinda brand’s strong sales and marketing network and build Vinda into a leading enterprise of the household paper manufacturing industry.
