Vinda International Again Becomes Constituent of HSSUSB

Recognized for its Sustainability Performance

(5 September 2022 – Hong Kong) Vinda International Holdings Limited (“Vinda International”, which together with its subsidiaries is referred to as the “Group”, stock code: 3331), is pleased to announce that the Group was again selected for its excellent performance in corporate sustainability after being included in the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index ("HSSUSB") on 6 September 2021. HSSUSB covers the best performance in corporate sustainability for 96 Hong Kong-listed companies. The successful inclusion of the index marks the full recognition of Vinda International's high standards in environmental, social and corporate governance.

In recent years, the global has paid more attention to the sustainable development of corporation, and the scale of investment in sustainable development worldwide continues to expand. HSSUSB is one of the well-recognized, important benchmark indexes of sustainable development in the capital market, and serves as an objective and reliable reference for worldwide investment in sustainable development. The selection of the constituents of HSSUSB is based on a rigorous process. During the evaluation process, the eligible companies’ performances in seven core aspects, including corporate governance, human rights, labor practices, environment, fair operating practices, consumer issues, and community involvement and development, are assessed. Having gone through the assessment procedures, only companies in the top 20% with the highest scores for sustainability performance will be selected.
